All items sent are subject testing.  And the quality is up to our discretion.

When sending items to us, you will be asked to fill out a form agreeing that you understand these procedures.  Testing can include destructive, harsh acid tests, and non destructive methods. But we will endeavour to test on a part that would not EASILY be seen, should we need to return the items.

Tests will be carried out before any decision is made on payment.Any non precious, or faulty, items will be returned on request. We charge a return fee of £10 to cover administration and postage if the precious metals material is not sold to us. If the material is sold to us then postage (£6.50per packet) will only be charged if it is a cash payment or if extra bits of non precious metal and stones needs returning.  In case of YOU- the customer - not selling your goods to us £10 will have to be received before we can return the goods.

J.Blundell & Sons Ltd will NOT accept responsibility for any items lost in the post - that includes items that are sent to us and items that we are sending back to the customer.  We recommend you use the special delivery service, which includes insurance, when posting items.  (See our FAQS for more information on insuring items.)

J.Blundell & Sons Ltd will, upon request, pay for goods via bank transfers, with a cheque or CASH

Bank Transfers:  Once items have been received we can wire payments directly into your account.  If your bank subscribes to the Faster Payment Scheme, your payment can be in your account, cleared, on the day we receive the gold.  Bank details will need to be provided but will not be saved.

Cheques:  Cheques can be sent out once items have been received.  However, for security purposes, we recommend the other two payment methods.

Cash:  we do send cash via special delivery.
